Uttoxeter - What's On in and around Uttoxeter and Staffordshire

Took the kids ice skating, it's only a little rink but it's quiet and less of a trek than Snowdome, although just as pricey. They do lessons here too - my kids both had intensive week courses a few years ago which got them up and running quickly. It's slightly cheaper if you bring your own skates and if you're a regular, worth getting an ice card.

Good venue with wide selection of films. Food and drink also available. All provided by pleasant helpful staff.

When they get your order right there great. However I seem to have managed a 50% success rate I'm the dozen times Ive used them. Hard to know how they screw this up when ordering via an App. They are always very appointing and sort it out. However pizzas keep me coming back

What a lovely place. The staff were amazing and very cheerful and polite. The beds are the best we have ever slept in. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. The food at the restaurant is beautiful and the drinks prices are cheaper than most pub and restaurants. £3.20 a pint. What more could you want. Then there was the shower. It's one you never want to get out off. Thank you Premier for a memorable stay. We will return.

The place is great. The receptionist and the cleaners are very friendly and the beds are silky. The only things that have let me down were that the pillows were too low so I woke up with a painful neck which I had to deal with, there are no clean taps where you can drink from, the walls were not soundproof so I had a very disruptive night and the the cups and mugs smelt funny. Overall, everything else was fine. The activity which I most enjoyed was my day at Alton towers. I DON'T RECCOMEND THE SMILER, IT IS TRULY TERRIFYING! I also enjoyed the nearby shops which had nearly everything on sale!the thing I wish they could've had was a fridge/freezer for drinks. I drank some spring water the next day and it tasted awfully warm and spluttery!
