I went in today to bank a cheque. The branch manger showed me how to use the automated machine, and whilst I was there helped me order a new card that I've been waiting to do. The branch was busy but customers dealt with quickly. Very good customer service, so important to have an actual branch.

Used them for several years - very professional and helpful. Thorough troubleshooting of any issues with my cars. Always given several options on how to proceed with repairs. For the few cases when a specialist has been needed they have always been able to point me in the right direction (in fact, only bad experience with a specialists/dealer I have had during the last few years, was the one time I did not check with them first).

In the area on holiday when we broke down, they fitted us in straight away and got us back on the road. Great service. 

Really helpful and friendly garage that are always honest and upfront. Never take advantage of my complete lack of understanding with all things motor related. Free retests on MOTs as well which is a great help when you've got old bangers like me.

Though I have had several problems with this Machine which caused friction between Mr Wooley and myself when I went back recently with a concern about a tapping noise in the engine he has been very pleasant and helpful, he has done a full strip down of the engine, he called me to have a look and everything looks spot on. the odd bit is where the noise was coming from there are no moving parts in the engine? When other repair centres who initially gave me advise and told me they would sort it out none of them would when the push came to the shove!! Anyway the mower is in the shop as I type and there is one other item to be sorted and that is lights failing intermittently just another sign of the Husquvana build quality not be what I expected along with 2 pulley bearings and the deck belt which didnt even manage 10 hours!

Went to a hairdressers who absolutely demolished my hair. Popped in and saw John who sorted it out without any fuss. He told me exactly what he was doing and was a joy to speak to. Would highly recommend him to give you an excellent experience. Will be visiting again when I'm back, cannot praise him enough

Kim is amazing, so nice and genuine. Always gets my hair perfect. Really can’t recommend her highly enough! She has been doing my hair for a around a year now and at the beginning salvaged my hair from another local ‘salon’. Wouldn’t ever want to swap. Just a nice down to earth down to early friendly girl.

The most amazing salon around, i could not be happier with my hair and extensions, they are incredible. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Trust is massive with your hairdresser and these lot at Spires give you just that. So happy thank you so much x

Recently moved to Uttoxeter and tried a couple of hair salons but then I found Tangles while walking down the high street. It is friendly and everybody was laughing and having fun. I only had a cut - which I am delighted with - but the tidy stylish salon and the friendliness of the staff brought me to leave my very first review!

I visited a few salons in uttoxeter to review them and I must say that Tangles was an excellent experience. The newly refurbished hair studio is light and ever so clean, and I felt very comfortable. Had I maybe a few more healthy follicles I may have tried something special, but a trim was enough. The only 5 star given in this area and the only one of three that I would recommend.

I used to have my haircut in a certain style in France, been back in England 3 years and visited 5 different salons in Uttoxeter with a photograph of the haircut and never has it been even similar ! So 3 weeks ago I chose to put my faith in this hairdressers and had it cut by Louise, wow she cut it exactly as I wanted it. Happy days now I’m staying with them as long as Louise stays there...brilliant ..thankyou xx

Amazing people and lovely place. Left our dog there on Doggy Day Care for the 1st time and she was absolutely fine. She came out smelling gorgeous and lovely and soft. Would highly recommend.

Clean and comfortable kennels, great exercise facilities, well run and friendly professional staff who have taken the time and trouble to go the extra distance to make my dogs comfortable during their stays. My nervous and stressy dog has grown in confidence on each visit and both are perfectly happy and relaxed when we have collected them. I would recommend to others on this basis.

My Spaniels always come here, & I don't feel bad leaving them!! Sally and family always friendly and helpful. Always the first call I make if we are lucky enough to have booked time away!

A local resource that is sadly under used

Uttoxeter library is a very useful source of information. I did a reserch project in which books and computers helped me.

We wish there was a 6 star rating as Jon would get it! One of the easiest suppliers to work with to create an extra special wedding day, Jon is so creative and continues to strive for perfection for his lucky couples. The thought, time and quality that he puts in to work with his clients is evident, and our happy coupes rave about him! Book him today before he gets booked up!!!

I’ve worked with Ben and Hannah on lots of projects over the years, and I was so happy when I finally got married to get my date in their diary - I would have changed my wedding day rather than compromise on a set of HBA images! These guys are truly sincere and kind in their approach and, without a shadow of a doubt made our day that bit more awesome. So whether it’s a big event or a secret elopement is totally recommend HBA. (So much so I’m planning my vow renewal just so I can have more pics!) A dream team right there.

Ben photographed our wedding in Oct 2017 and we couldn't be happier with the outcome of the photos. They're so artistic and so creative. Not just that, but as people they are great to work with, so personable and really put us as ease. Honestly couldn't recommend higher.

Nicky at Blossom did my sons newborn photo's and his smash the cake photo's when he was one. I can honestly say I was blown away with the whole experience. I cannot recommend her enough as she has managed to capture exactly what I see when I look at my son, pure perfection and love. You would definitely not be disappointed.

Rang day one to say could they help with my toilet as it would not flush. Day two they rang back called round and fixed the problem. Very impressed with the speed and efficiency of the service. Many thanks!

All containers are accessible at ground level so much easier to use than many sites. The workers here are really helpful and always ask if you need a hand. I've used this site on a few occasions and they're always doing a great job

Cant agree with earlier comments, I booked Move-Synergy and they were fantastic. Roisin in the office was in touch constantly and on the day of the move the 3 man team worked tirelessly all day in 30 degree heat and carrying boxes and heavy furniture down a steep incline. At he other end they even helped my disabled Mum into the new property in my absence! (much appreciated) I have more possession in Storage currently and will be definitely be using Move-Synergy again.

We could not recommend Move Synergy more highly. They have been fantastic throughout our move. When we were looking for a removals company we got lots of quotations. Gerald from Move Synergy visited us and was very professional and honest about how much stuff we had to move - some companies downplayed the volume. When we confirmed we wanted to go with Move Synergy we did not have a moving date but Roisin was brilliant and stayed in regular contact with us. When we then did get a date it was short notice and ultimately fell through 3 days before we were due to move. Again, Move Synergy were brilliant and rescheduled things to delay our move by a week. The Move Synergy team then arrived the day before our move to pack our house, despite some very adverse weather across the country. They were polite, friendly and professional throughout the day. On the day of our move, again the team managed to get to our house despite continued snow. They completed the packing of the house promptly. When unpacking into the new house, they were equally professional and managed to get some of the larger pieces of furniture into very awkward locations. They were even happy to move furniture, left by the previous occupants, between rooms as we required, which wasnt expected but was greatly appreciated. The team worked really hard. We would recommend Move Synergy without hesitation.

Love this place food is lovely always a great service take away or delivery never go anywhere else.

Went for midweek evening for the all you can eat buffet. This is the sort where you place your order and you can keep on ordering rather than where you jeep going and filling your plate. Starters and drinks were ordered and the food came in a reasonable time and was very nice. Next we ordered 4 dishes and 2 sides for our main course to begin with. Again the food was very nice, the portion sizes were a good size that you can happily eat several dishes. However, we only received 3 of the 4 dishes and it was almost an hour before any member of staff came near our table again for us to ask about it. When they did they simply asked if we wanted to order any more food, but by then our appetite was gone. Watching regulars and locals at other tables it seems the key here is to order everything at once. We didn't even get the chance to order extra drinks. Overall the food was very nice, the initial service was good, but then you're just left with no follow up service.

It's nice food however the price has risen since our last visit maybe a year ago by about £7 each for all you can eat however still a nice place and friendly staff so worth it.

I found myself in Uttoxeter and picked up a puncture, so I drove around looking for somewhere to get it fixed. I was fortunate to come across Tyreways. They fitted me in immediately and had a full range of tyres in stock. Friendly, reasonably priced, and I'd definitely go there again - if I lived in Uttoxeter. Also - look at the size of the thing they pulled out of my tyre!

McMurtry and Harding at both Uttoxeter and Ashbourne practices have been outstanding in dealing with both of my cats when they have become very unwell out of hours. The emergency care is second to none, all vets are extremely efficient and take your concerns very seriously. The nurses / reception staff are also very caring and impressive. I have total confidence in this veterinary practice, and I wouldn't take my cats anywhere else. I would highly recommend to anybody.

Very good with our dwarf Netherland Rabbit. Unfortunately they do not have specific times for small pets surgery, but does any vet, and inevitably there are dogs in the waiting room which obviously bothers the Rabbit. It is such a shame that so many dog owners do not seem to know how to control their pets or accept that not every one else is as keen on dogs as they are.

Our ‘go to’ place whenever we have any concerns with any of our six bunnies. I can’t say that they love going to the vets but it’s a real friendly place and always first class care for the extended members of your family.

Couldn’t be happier, not just great looking windows but made my UPVC facias, soffits and guttering like new again!
